So, I tried to get rid of the Subscriber Hub on Facebook, but I couldn’t shut it down. At the time, there was only one subscriber there. I reached out to them and let them know I would no longer be posting there, and that they should cancel their membership. Well, not only did they not do that, but more people subscribed there. Now, I’m going to throw in the towel and start adding content for them.

I don’t think I can add uncensored content, as that would violate Facebook community standards, but I can add other things. The first of which will be an Early, Early (Double Early) Access version of our comics before they are colored. I started that yesterday. I will also post our newsletter. As time goes on, I’ll figure out more benefits to add.

My wife has hundreds of dollars’ worth of combs and brushes. My dogs also have hundreds of dollars’ worth of combs and brushes we collected over the years. I’m pointing this out because the other day I discovered my wife combing the dog’s hair with my comb. I only have one comb, and it cost less than a dollar. When I confronted them, my wife didn’t even stop grooming the dog. She acted like she was doing nothing wrong, and the dog looked at me as if to say, you should see what we do with your toothbrush.

It’s that time of year again! My house is right next to the county fairgrounds, so every year I put up with the carnies, the noise, and everyone who can afford a fair pass for a week. To top that off, as a member of the VFW color guard, I take part in the flag-raising at the opening ceremonies and march in a parade to kick off the festivities. The problem is I usually don’t interact with others. To put things into perspective, when someone knocks on my door, I usually glare at them on my security camera app until they leave.

Don’t get me wrong, I do enjoy interacting with all of you on social media and posting comics! Just know that if you ever come and knock on my door, I probably won’t answer it. Not before I drink my coffee, anyway. Have a great day!

The latest Fort Familyroom strip brought back some memories. I remember buying my first VHS player in 1986 for $300 bucks, and the new VHS copy of the movie Highlander for $50, on sale! I was stationed in Germany at the time. I had extra money lying around from my enlistment bonus. Movies are a lot cheaper nowadays!

Needless to say, my room in the barracks was always crowded. We watched a ton of movies in the two years I was stationed there. Of course, much beer was consumed. In retrospect, I should have spent the money traveling and seeing Europe.

Software never continues to work like it’s supposed to. Eventually something dumb will happen, like typing in your password incorrectly too many times, and you have to waste hours trying to get into your own account. All morning I’ve been locked out of fortfamilyroom.com while trying to upload the latest comic. I figured out a workaround, but the root problem is still there. Anyway, my wife is figuring it out for me so I can move on to bigger and better things.

I’m finally posting the comic about Keith’s dream job today. The next comic will be about clearing a duty station in the nineties. When I get over my frustration with modern technology, I’ll write some more. Have a great day!
