I was scrolling in bed the other night, and clicked on an interview of Pete Barlow, the GI Lowe cartoonist, by Joes: The Cold War Diaries for episode 28 of their Booze Briefing. It was a good interview, and as I watched it, I got a big surprise. Scott Burkett, the author and interviewer, mentioned Fort Familyroom not once, but twice! He said it was one of three military cartoons that most veterans read. The other two were GI Lowe and Private Murphy. It was really cool, and I went to sleep with a smile on my face.
