Last Friday evening, I led the local VFW color guard in two ceremonies remembering the September 11 terrorist attacks. One was at our VFW hall, and the other was at the high school prior to a football game. The ceremony at the high school went well, but at the VFW hall, we choked pretty badly. I hate it when that happens! I’m not sure any of the civilians noticed our errors, though.
